1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, applying for, or participating in the Global Utility Leadership Council (“the Council,” “we,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not access or participate in Council activities.
2. Nature of the Council
The Council is a private, invitation-only community convening senior utility and infrastructure leaders for confidential, non-commercial dialogue.
Participation is not a right and may be granted, limited, or withdrawn at the Council’s discretion to preserve neutrality, relevance, and integrity.
3. Membership & Participation
Membership consideration may be initiated through direct request or referral. Acceptance is subject to review and does not guarantee ongoing participation.
- Membership is personal and non-transferable
- Organizations may participate only through approved institutional relationships
- Participation may be suspended or revoked without notice for violations
4. Code of Conduct
All participants are expected to uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.
- Respect confidentiality and the Chatham House Rule
- No commercial promotion, solicitation, or sales activity
- No recording, redistribution, or attribution of private discussions
- Engage respectfully and constructively with fellow members
5. Confidentiality & Chatham House Rule
Executive forums, working groups, and communications operate under the Chatham House Rule.
Information shared may be used freely by participants, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of speakers may be revealed without explicit consent.
6. Intellectual Property
All Council materials, reports, frameworks, and content are the intellectual property of the Global Utility Leadership Council unless otherwise stated.
Participants may not reproduce, distribute, or commercialize Council content without prior written permission.
7. Fees & Payments
Membership or participation fees, if applicable, are communicated privately. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
8. Disclaimer
The Council does not provide legal, regulatory, financial, or professional advice. All discussions and materials are informational and reflect participant perspectives.
Participants are responsible for decisions made within their organizations.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Council shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation or use of Council materials or forums.
10. Termination
The Council reserves the right to suspend or terminate access or participation at its sole discretion, with or without cause.
11. Changes to Terms
These Terms & Conditions may be updated periodically. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws of the jurisdiction in which the Council is organized.
